建筑上使用的鋁板包括單層鋁板、復(fù)合鋁板等多種材料，一般常常指單層鋁板（也有叫單鋁板或純鋁板），多用于建筑裝飾工程中，近年來在鋁板幕墻中單層鋁板使用的較為多見。鋁板幕墻也是幕墻的一種形式，簡單地說是用鋁板代替玻璃制成幕墻，鋁板幕墻多用于作墻體蔽護和不采光的墻壁。
